⚠️ Penalty Imposed for Improper Waste Management

During an inspection at Kadamba Building, Ashwini Layout, Ejipura in the BTM Constituency, the Bengaluru South City Corporation (BSCC) SWM team found improper waste management and non-segregation of waste.

A ₹20,000 penalty was imposed under the Solid Waste Management Rules, and the owners were directed to ensure proper waste segregation and scientific disposal of waste.

I have issued a clear directive banning the promotion of tobacco products on public buses and at bus stations across the state.

No form of tobacco product advertising will be allowed on government-run buses or within bus terminal premises. This includes visual promotions, posters, stickers, or any branding related to tobacco products.

I have also instructed officials to immediately remove all such advertisements that are already in place.
