@TheRemnant232@ashtonshudson@nduplessis ...other people are picking between food or rent or in South Africa where the top 1% own 50% of all the wealth.
You are failing to accept the systemic risk that wealth inequality brings to a society,
It is what has led to many revolts and wars in many nations across time.
@TheRemnant232@ashtonshudson@nduplessis Yeah, and I also saw what else they said,
Pointing out that they are saying we shouldn't have communism isnt the dunk you think it is.
A doctor making more than a pre-school teacher isn't the same thing as 1 guy owning 1% of all individual wealth in the US while ...

Here is a publication from the International Monetary Fund on why income and wealth inequality are a systemic risk.
Just read the point on "Macroeconomic Consequences ..."
Its page 4.
Unless you are smarter or more informed than them, It is a risk.
@ashtonshudson@nduplessis I mean, Elon himself has already done that, despite the feelings had about him, he has an outsized influence on US politics, legislation and industry.
It is simply bad policy to concentrate power in macro systems.
@ashtonshudson@nduplessis I mean.. isnt that the worry, hazard and already-failed approach;
When person(s) with shared interest get enough power, they begin to shape, change or even evade those checks and balances. They buy/lobby politicians/laws, stifle competition in industry, etc...
@ashtonshudson@nduplessis There is some undue Elon hate going around, and thats not okay;
But that kind of wealth concentration is still an economic, political and social hazard.
@ashtonshudson ๐ญbruh, ive been buried under school work and work work,
Registered for my post grad, and its been hell ever since... how have you been?
Giest is pretty good! I found "Egregore" too, but that one has roots in spirituality/occult.
Let me ask what you are writing about still,
@ashtonshudson I have often used "meta-conscious",
But lately I have seen in ads that are shilling predictive markets refer to that as "crowd wisdom"; although that one seems to imply the correctness of the crowds' conclusions, which i dont think it always is,
@Freshermoon2 Withholding that the ๐ฎ๐ฑ milt. is heavily subsidised by the ๐บ๐ธ with weapons, Intel and money;
I don't think the ANC is a seriously regarded on the int. stage.
Just as we don't think about what Romania or Jamaica are doing.
I think they see them as incompetent pests tbh.
The more I learn about the coming collapse of the American economy and hegemony, the more excited I get.
It will allow nations to determine their own fates and administration.
Africa and South America might finally be allowed to use their resources and self discover
Amen.
