@pretty_sarlin Let the rat drink from bottle #1 at 1pm, from bottle #2 at 2pm and so on. If the rat dies at 11pm, the bottle #1 is the culprit, midnight means bottle #2 and so on.
Note: rat dies *exactly* after 10 hours.
What if Vitamin B12 and D3 could be our next salt revolution?
I asked myself this after spending an afternoon with Padma Shri, Dr. Chandrakant Pandav. By adding iodine to salt, he helped drop goitre rates from ~40% to near 10% in trial regions within a decade.
I walked out of that meeting with one thought: It’s time I take on the same fight for B12 and D3, India’s silent epidemic.
• Vitamin D deficiency affects 70% to 90% of Indians, which is a risk factor for heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer.
• Over 40% of adults suffer from B12 deficiency. In severe cases, people with this deficiency may experience nerve damage, anemia, and birth defects.
So here’s my commitment: If salt could once wipe out goitre, I want to play my part in reducing the B12 and D3 burden in India.
But how do we get there? Subsidized supplements? Smarter fortification of everyday staples? What are the other ideas we can explore?
Let’s solve this crisis together.
walking 2.4 km of Bengaluru footpaths showed me:
- tunnel juice
- barbed wire
- desire paths
- bushwhacking
- pavement pudding
- a stairwell into a drain
- something I can't type here
don't watch this if you have a weak stomach
Shockingly, Maggi just launched a “double masala” version with 2 masala sachets in 1 pack.
A regular maggi is already high in sodium, and I’m shocked to see Maggi launching a double sodium version.
A double masala maggi has 1180mg of sodium. Adults should have maximum 2000mg sodium daily, and kids should have even lesser amount of sodium.
But Indians consume roughly 4400mg sodium daily, more than TWICE the suggested amount.
It is no-coincidence that India is soon becoming the heart-attack capital of the world, with many young Indians getting heart attacks.
Maggi must rethink its decision to roll out a “double masala” as these products can be addictive for kids and dangerous for adults as well if consumed in excess!

@piyushT21@BefittingFacts@grok Shouldn't he slap 100% tariff on Norway till he gets a prize. He can spare Sweden as he needs only peace prize and no other prize
@ICICIBank@ICICIBank_Care What is wrong with your portal? No one can login if the user id contains hyphen. If I remove the hyphen login is enabled. How can the potral be broken for such basic requirement?
I have used a dry watercolor style to create a small animated video in Midjourney AI. The video depicts my memories of scenes from life in a temple town near the river. It was inspired by this music by the great flautist Padma Shri @ronumajumdar - “Chalo man Ganga Jamuna teer”.
AI still has a long way to go in terms of realism, but the results are very inspiring.
Enjoy. 🙏
@theskindoctor13 In a suburb of Bangalore, there is a road with three lanes on each side. Left-most lane is used for parking. The middle lane is used by vehicles going in the opposite direction. The right most lane is the only one available for vehicles travelling at 10kmph
@theskindoctor13@nitin_gadkari Shouldn't that be booked under "Attempt to murder" - IPC 307?
The offender knows that there is a possibility of potential accident and death!
