@tskrishnan We don’t have go too far to blame anyone for religious conversions. If worshipping God becomes unaffordable for average people, this by itself provides talking points to foreign missionaries and foundations to persuade people offering access to God at no cost. Requires attention.

@tskrishnan Excellent insights describing Raja Raja’s great gesture sacrificing his personal ambitions. This was a period people killing anyone on their way to achieving power. A precedent created for his successors! Anyone can be a tyrant ruler. To be beloved by his people is a great one.

@singrama @tskrishnan Thanks. Shows his sacrifice & selflessness. He put dharma, harmony of his kingdom on top of any personal ambitions. Had he taken the rein instead of Uttama, he would have expanded further north in India or deeper in SE Asia even established stronger relations with Song Dynasty.
