Grace Gowera, @usask#student: “Mitacs provided the necessary resources that helped me navigate the #internship@swatmaps. I encourage others to take advantage of these resources & use this experience to build their network, gain new insights, and develop skills and knowledge.”
Our @SWATMAPS team was pleased to join @MitacsCanada, the Ministry of Advanced Education and the University of Saskatchewan yesterday! Croptimistic was very proud to play a part as a project showcase and see how students are connecting to innovation in agriculture!
What was your path to becoming a #soil scientist? We'd like to profile you in our #GroundedInSoils blog. Email us at CSSSsoils (at) Gmail to find out how to participate! See Grace Gowera's blog here for an example! https://t.co/GgQ6kXkxt9 Thanks @gowerag !!!!
“Soil is complex in its simplicity. Merely looking at soil, one can be forgiven for seeing just “dirt.” But a closer look reveals there is more to it than just that. That’s why Grace Gowera is studying for her PhD in #soil science. Learn more: https://t.co/ZVWLE2wcR4
When Grace Gowera was working with farmers, she became aware of the challenges they faced that affected crop productivity. So, she started her studies in #soil science. Learn more about Grace in this #GroundedinSoils blog: https://t.co/ZVWLE2eBZw
@EstefanaEspin Thats very normal, l felt the same when l started and later on learned that l can not know everything because l’m there to learn. It’s ok not to have all the answers right away but it’s your duty to find those answers and mind you your advisor is there to assist you.
