I'm used to people telling me things can't be done.
I didn't accept it then. I won't accept it now.
It's time to get Britain believing again and bring back hope.
This week is just the start.

For the record….I don’t believe Muslims should have to take collective blame for a crime.
However…in June 2013, a coordinated sermon was delivered in around 500 mosques across the UK condemning child sexual grooming and abuse. The initiative was organised by Together Against Grooming (TAG) and supported by a number of Muslim organisations. The sermon:
Explicitly condemned the perpetrators of the Oxford, Rochdale and similar grooming cases.
Quoted Islamic teachings against sexual indecency and oppression.
Called on Muslims to protect children and report abuse.
Was reportedly delivered to hundreds of thousands of worshippers during Friday prayers.
Gwadar belongs to Pakistan today because of a woman who argued Pakistan's case against Indian designs on the territory.
Lady Viqar-un-Nisa Noon.
And most of Pakistan has no idea she existed.
Born Victoria Rekha in Austria in July 1920. Raised and educated in England as a Christen. She met Sir Feroz Khan Noon in London when he was India's High Commissioner. Married him in Bombay in 1945. Converted to Islam. Changed her name. And stepped into one of the most consequential lives any woman in Pakistan's history would ever live.
She was arrested three times during the Civil Disobedience Movement in Punjab for organising protests against the British-backed Khizar Ministry. An Austrian woman. Arrested in British India. For Pakistan.
At partition her family home in East Punjab was burned to the ground. She found refuge with a local Hindu ruler before being repatriated across the new border.
She kept going.
After independence she worked refugee camps. Joined the Red Cross.
Pioneered women's Education in what is today Bangladesh.
Founded the Viqarunnisa Girls School in Dhaka in 1952. One of the most prestigious schools in what is now Bangladesh. Founded the Viqar-un-Nisa College for Women in Rawalpindi. Built schools in both wings of Pakistan.
But in 1956 she did something that changed Pakistan's geography forever.
Gwadar had been under Omani control since 1783. The port that Pakistan needed. The coastline that CPEC would one day be built around. The land China would call the second Shenzhen. Still in Oman's hands.
Viqar-un-Nisa lobbied in London. Negotiated. Pushed against every obstacle. She worked the British House of Lords. She argued Pakistan's case against Indian designs on the territory.
In 1958 her husband Prime Minister Feroz Khan Noon completed the formal transfer of Gwadar from the Sultanate of Oman to Pakistan.
The price was three million pounds.
She wrote about it herself in her autobiography From Memory. The reclamation of Gwadar from Oman she called it.
The port that is now the spine of CPEC. The city that China called the second Shenzhen. The coastline that sits 605 kilometres from the Strait of Hormuz and is reshaping the economic map of Asia.
A woman fought to make it Pakistani.
Nishan-e-Imtiaz awarded in 1959. Pakistan's highest civilian honour.
She died January 16, 2000 in Islamabad.
From Austria to Dhaka to London to Gwadar she left a mark for Pakistan.
Viqar-un-Nisa Noon.

“I need your help to beat a man in fancy dress.”
This has got to go down in history as the most ridiculous by-election ever.
I’ve never laughed so much…it’s going to be a funny few weeks! 🤣

Fuck me even Habib is nailing Farage good and proper. Montgomery looks like has a severe case of buyers’ regret combined with verbal diarrhoea. He knows he’s fucked up and is swan diving into a vat of shit.
People versus the establishment?
Are you kidding?
Nigel Farage is the son of a stockbroker who went to Dulwich College and then follows his dad into the city, gets gifted millions, promotes crypto and gold bullion, been in politics for decades - he IS the establishment
Anyone praising the Citizen Vigilante film should be arrested.
This film is about murdering Muslims and migrants.
Report anyone who is identifiable to the police.

Sanskrit was codified into its classical form by the ancient Pakistani grammarian Panini around the 4th-5th century BCE.
Born in Salatura, Gandhara, he later studied at Taxila university, which was one of the world's greatest centers of learning in ancient Pakistan! 🇵🇰
Disgusting story of a sickening rape gang. Yet it’s receiving hardly any attention from those who’ve led (rightful) outrage over the grooming rape gang scandal. I wonder why?
Just finished this excellent book on Muslims in the UK. If only Islamophobes would read it, some might just change their opinions. Thank you Sayeeda for opening my eyes to how it feels to be Muslim in modern Britain.
The attack began near a mosque & ended with 5 people injured. Last night’s midnight bulletin on Radio 4 had the story half way down the running order and this morning’s 9 am bulletin had a 20 second read
Rupert Lowe & Yaxley-Lennon are responsible for this. Neither the BBC. Sky or The Mail Online are reporting the detail about the attacker claiming to be protecting women from Muslim rapists and The Telegraph aren’t reporting the attacks at all.
The same week that @RupertLowe10 put out his bullshit ‘rape gang report’ falsely claiming Muslims raped 250,000 white girls & same week @elonmusk amplified it on here, this happens. Is anyone surprised?
They’re inciting violence against Muslims and emboldening extremists.
