Happy Birthday to us, @tomhanks ! Have always been honored to be able to say that I share a birthday with you! Hope it’s a wonderful one! To many many more!
@donlemon Am a fan and nightly viewer of your show. Always excellent. Any chance u might be covering the New Yorkers currently stuck in Ghana? https://t.co/vJVCD26r9X
@LegalZoom I’d like to shout out to Legal Zoom Representative Kousha for his excellent assistance on the phone just now! Kind, clear, friendly, and helpful! Much appreciated!
@NYPD19Pct@NY1@NYGovCuomo@nyc311 Thank u. I have checked and filed a report with 311 as of this morning. I know this is the last of ur worries these days. Thank u to u guys for all that u are doing and have always done for our neighborhood. ❤️ Wishing all of you to be well and stay well.
@NY1@NYPD19Pct Why is this luxury apartment construction allowed to continue under NY State the PAUSE order issued by @NYGovCuomo ? There is no affordable housing included and the site was quiet after the order until today. Nope!!!!! #luxuryapartmentconstructionisnotessential
@VVFriedman So tickled to see this picture from 2005 of my husband and I in the @nytimes Bill Cunningham Easter Parade restrospective! What an unexpected treat - especially amidst today’s happenings. Thanks for brightening the day. 💕💕💕
@lewserviss @matthewhaag Contact your local Community Board as well as Public Advocate @JumaaneWilliams who was instrumental in getting the construction ban clarification. They are there to help you with this!
@jessemckinley@matthewhaag@NYGovCuomo Thank you for inquiring about this! Workers are in danger and the people (like me) who live in buildings in which they are entering and exiting all day are also being put at unnecessary risk. Not to mention the dang noise with no place else to go! Stop the construction for a few!
In addition to all excellent points made in the @nytimes article by @matthewhaag is that workers doing facade work - like in my bldg - are coming in/out of our bldg, using elevator, and congregating in the basement where our laundry room is. Not safe now. https://t.co/IhAej2RsuF

@nycpa@bradlander@cmenchaca Yes, please!!!!! In my UES building, an inspector came in yesterday to look at the windows to start work on loud disruptive facade repair next week. This also means encountering groups of workers on the way to and from the basement laundry area & in elevator. Not wise right now.
@NYCDOB Will Cuomo’s new order also shut down non-emergency construction projects - like building facade repairs and such - while we are forced shelter at and work from home?
Any other fellow NYC residents wish that noisy non-emergency residential construction could be put on hold while we all have to work from home?!?! @NYCDOB@NY1
