Looking at the number of Ugandan teenagers being arrested and paraded by @PoliceUg for crimes like robbery and murder makes one reflect on this BBC interview with Mr Aliko Dangote.

He warns that if Africans don’t put the potential we have into reality, we might have a serious challenge.

We can’t have one quarter of the global population by 2050 and have productivity as low as we currently have.

The fruits of that are these robberies and killings by young, potentially productive citizens.

Economic prosperity can be a smart way to reduce such crime.
