Brick-By-Brick we're building our beloved nation. Iwe wosvora ?
Here are five notable infrastructure development projects undertaken under President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s leadership:
1. Expansion of the Kariba South Hydroelectric Power Station
Completed in March 2018, this project added two 150 MW units to the existing facility, increasing its capacity to 1,050 MW. This expansion has been pivotal in enhancing Zimbabwe's power generation capabilities.
2. Construction of the New Parliament Building in Mount Hampden
Initiated in November 2018 and completed in May 2022, this six-storey building spans 33,000 square metres and accommodates up to 650 legislators. The modern facility symbolises Zimbabwe’s commitment to legislative development.
3. Modernisation of the Beitbridge Border Post
This project has transformed the Beitbridge Border Post into a state-of-the-art facility, enhancing trade efficiency and cross-border movement. The modernisation includes improved infrastructure and streamlined processes, positioning it as a key transit point in the region.
4. Rehabilitation of the Harare-Beitbridge Highway
Recognising the highway’s importance as a trade artery, extensive rehabilitation work has been undertaken to improve road quality and safety. This project facilitates smoother transportation of goods and passengers between Harare and the Beitbridge Border Post.
5. Construction of Multiple Dams
To bolster water security and support agriculture, several dams have been constructed, including the Muchekeranwa Dam in Chivhu. These projects aim to provide reliable water sources for irrigation and domestic use, contributing to the nation’s food security and rural development.
These projects reflect the government’s commitment to infrastructure development as a cornerstone for economic growth and an improved quality of life in Zimbabwe.
1. This is how Zimbabwean government chief spokesman Nick Mangwana is not only an incompetent propagandist, but also a liar who makes claims that can easily be verified.
In November 2023, he claimed that his government had bought “a set of advanced radiotherapy ‘cancer treatment’ machines.”
Today, he has come back with another lie, forgetting his previous falsehood. He now says his government is going to buy radiotherapy machines for cancer treatment — the same claim he made in November 2023, sixteen months ago.
Zimbabwe has not had a single working radiotherapy machine for cancer treatment in three years.
Thousands of Zimbabweans have died from treatable cancer because of this.
You can’t run a government on lies and cheap childish propaganda, it is embarrassing in this modern age of internet and social media.
Take a listen to the video on tweet 2.
This is the reason Zimbabweans are flocking to Musina and now Zambia. Emerson has Failed!! 15 of the Accident victims in Beit bridge are now in South Africa. Why is Emerson still a President?
🇿🇼You wld wish that Zimbabweans learned from Tekere to Zvobgo to Gamatox to G40 to Lacoste. Zanu PF factionalism will not deliver any change to the ordinary citizen. It will only reconfigure power & the predatory elite in Zanu, the army & business. Stay away from internal fights.
Many Zimbabweans recognize Geza as the sole leader truly confronting the everyday challenges we face, challenges that often remain ignored. Therefore, any attack on Geza is not just an attack on him; it is an assault on all of us who suffer under the corrupt regime of Mnangagwa.
Geza " ED must go,now"
Hopuwero "..👀👁️...am nt a zanuPF member..I don't comment "
Mahiya "we will burn the constitution&bury it's ashes"
Hopuwero "👀🤐...no comment,it's zanu game"
Chamisa "A NEW ZIMBABWE,GOD IS IN IT"
Hopuwero "shfkjdggdjjd🗣️🎼🎵😤🤯🤧🤕🥸👣🫀🧠🫁🦶🦵🦿🦾"
➡️ Good morning. ☀️
Today I'm remembering the morning after ED was WHITEWASHED by Chamisa in the 2023 election.
THIS is the face of one who KNOWS he only got 30% of the Presidential vote. ⬇️ 🤷🏾♂️
