Data-driven doesn't mean error-proof

Some of the worst marketing decisions can be made based on data if:

You don't understand various attribution models, what they mean, and how they work 👀

If you've got more than one marketing channel (SEO, ads, social media, email, etc.), you must choose an appropriate model to attribute credit for conversion

GA4 now allows to set up micro conversions tracking which could be a good start

Various customer surveys (How did you find out about us, What was the key factor in choosing us, and similar) are also priceless

Testing and experimenting with budget allocation is another good one
