@SFGiants 5 years ago today, the SF Giants ended their amazing 107-win season and headed into the playoffs.
Gabe led by building trust, giving others a voice, and bringing people together.
This interview shows how Gabe saw leadership as a shared accomplishment. Thank you, @gabekapler!
@KeenyaBranch Kenya, I think it's great to see you share a quote like this. Many men still struggle to open up about mental health because they feel pressured to always be strong.
I've always appreciated @gabekapler for speaking openly about mental health and encouraging these conversations.
@MrhughLthebest Great quote! Hebrews 12:15 reminds us not to let bitterness take root. I think remembering the grace God has shown us helps us extend that same grace to others, even when they hurt us. 🙂
@KeenyaBranch Kenya, I found your question interesting and amusing. 😄 As Howard Hendricks wrote, "I am a developing individual." I'm still learning about myself and others through conversations like this. I enjoy a little bit of everything musically. Thanks for sharing your insights with me.
@LetsGoKayaking I really like this picture, PH! This is my kind of umbrella, a happy umbrella! 😆 I appreciate your photography and sense of humor. Safe travels! ☺️
@KeenyaBranch Kenya, I listened to Aretha Franklin's version, and it's good, although Etta's voice takes me to another level. I found your question interesting. ☺️ I'm upbeat, and my music taste shows it, but I enjoy many genres. I liked something you said once: "Discernment is necessary." 🙂
@KeenyaBranch Kenya, when you mentioned Etta James, I couldn't help but think of her song "At Last!" I love the line, "You smiled, you smiled/Oh, and then the spell was cast." It's so poetic, like his smile made time stop and became a life-altering moment for her. It's a beautiful song! ☺️
@GotdemCards I think the fan had every right to keep the ball. Of course, it would have been a kind gesture to give it to the boy, but it should not be expected. It's okay for a child to feel disappointed; learning to deal with those feelings is part of growing up. 🙂
@Donald_G_Redman Don, I like how you include people in your photography. I think people bring personality to a picture. The first time you shared this particular photo, I thought of the song "Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison. The lyrics go well with it: "Pretty woman, walkin' down the street."🎶 ☺️
@spallinsinpdx Mike, thank you for your sweet words and for liking my post! 🤗 I appreciate your kindness, and you know how much I enjoy celebrating Gabe's achievements and milestones. He's a pretty big deal to this loyal fan! 😄🩵
@KeenyaBranch Kenya, your comment blessed me. I love that we can pray anywhere. Congrats on those 10,000 steps. I'm walking more and running less. Running leaves me quite stiff the next day. As Dr. Andrews told Aunt Bee on The Andy Griffith Show, "You're not a spring chicken anymore, Bee." 😂
@CharleySeymour6 Great job, Charley! I enjoy reading your posts. I won't ever try to match your impressive weekly mileage, that's for sure! 😂 I like the beard, too! Grey looks great on men. Keep it up!

@cardtrader86525 I don't even follow football, but this story made me smile. Imagine telling the coach himself he'll never win, without even knowing who he is!
I love when people are so sure someone will fail, only to be proven wrong. Nothing sweeter than seeing doubters eat their words! 😂
@LetsGoKayaking PH, this is one of my favorite pictures. There's elegance, symmetry, and stillness all at once. I like how you captured the swan with its feathers wrapped closely around its body like a royal cloak. Nicely done.
@spallinsinpdx Mike, Graciela is my Spanish name, but I decided to keep it simple and go with Grace.
Besides, Grace works better with my new username, "GraceCheersGabe." It has a nice flow to it! 🤩
After all, supporting and cheering on Gabe is something I truly enjoy. It's no sacrifice. ☺️
