wasn’t the whole point of Harry Potter that love conquers all and is even more powerful than magic 😭😭 she hates trans ppl so much all the love has been zapped from her body like omg girl you are not okay 😭
How about instead of being a bigot, we talk about the real issue this article underscores? Girls, cis and trans, should be listened to and respected by medical professionals when talking aboit their body, not face endless medical gatekeeping and adults ignoring their pain.
⚡️BREAKING⚡️ Brilliant news - the High Court has ruled against the Whitehaven coal mine!! Huge congrats to all who campaigned against it & to @friends_earth & @slacctt for bringing the case. The fossil fuel era is over. #KeepItInTheGround https://t.co/NApPhmk5fY
Trans women can have/want:
- Facial hair
- Body hair
- Flat chests
- No bottom surgery
- Short hair
- Traditionally “masculine” clothing
- He/him pronouns
- A traditionally “male” name
And it makes them no “less Trans”.
To ban puberty blockers in Northern Ireland is awful on its own but to then turn around and give trans youth a list of suicide hotlines as support is a huge slap to the face. They know exactly what they are doing and they are fine with it.
. A reminder that social transition includes things like wearing different clothes, getting a haircut/growing it out, going by a different name/pronouns. If a cis girl wants to cut her hair short & wear trousers, would she be forced to see a doctor beforehand?
The announcement today that the ban on puberty blockers will be extended to include Northern Ireland is deeply upsetting and worrying for the trans community everywhere. We firstly want to send our full support and solidarity to all trans people who will be affected by this ban.
The private rented sector in Northern Ireland is being systematically cut off f
to people on low incomes and benefits. My brother's latest PRS application required a guarantor earning 40k. It's not migrants that are doing this lads
In terms of Imane Khalif having a “biological advantage” let’s discuss Michael Phelps.
Phelps has:
- Double jointed elbows & knees
- A hyperextended thorax
- 50% less lactic acid production than the average competitor
And yet, no one ever said he had a biological advantage.
Michael Phelps is literally referred to as a freak of nature because of his disproportionate wingspan, double jointed ankles, lung capacity twice that of an average human, body that produces half the lactic acid of a typical athlete, and he is rightly celebrated for being the greatest male swimmer in history. Meanwhile, female athletes with genetic differences are legally discriminated against and harassed to no end. This is not about “protecting women in sports” - this is about protecting a very specific idea of what a woman is.

Dutee Chand
Caster Semenya
Annet Negesa
Anyone noticing a common thread amongst the female athletes who have been falsely subjected to Transphobic attacks and allegations?
