@RADII_Media just launched my article about my trip with Ian Dai earlier this year, spanning across several of China's up and coming wine regions.

Last night was the 2023 @IACPculinary Photography Awards in New York where I was awarded the Editorial Food Photographer of 2023 for a series I shot with SaintCavish and @seriouseats in the
Zhen San Huan hand hammered wok factory in Shandong, China.
Everything seems so crazy and urgent, but here is 10 minutes of my friend Chai playing singing bowls by a stream, I filmed this in Southern China last year. Enjoy. #Mindfulness

Tea drinking is entertwined with Chinese culture, and was long associated with Chinese elders. Recently, however, Chinese youth have begun to appreciate its charm.

This was one of my favourite pieces from a series I shot for Shaka and Vans in Hainan following Micky, a semi-retired rockstar and his son, Mumu, fitting for #fathersday - the rest of the series is here: https://t.co/TOgHwrb85k #InternationalSurfingDay

An epic rundown of the new world of Gin by Olivier Ward at @spiritsbeacon - Nigeria and India really caught my eye, but seeing Peddlers called out as a top pick is a real compliment to the hard work we've been putting in over the last few years.

Shanghai today is a roller coaster of senses. After two months of isolation the streets are bustling, the air is full of tantalising smells of food being cooked mixed with the occasional eye watering wreak of an industrial fridge being opened for the first time after 2 months.
Beijing has released details on a series of policies aimed at kickstarting growth in the second half of the year, and various industries battered by COVID are breathing a big sigh of relief.

@JohnBrkn@JChengWSJ@QiLiyan@shenlulushen And you believe China is a place lacking of innovation, just a country of photocopies. I think it's easier to just agree to disagree on this one.
As Shanghai reopened today, we flooded the streets only to have to queue to get COVID tests required every 72 hours. Bars and restaurants aren't yet open either, so it was the perfect time to launch a ready to drink bottled cocktail over at Peddlers Gin. Sip while you queue.
@JohnBrkn@JChengWSJ@QiLiyan@shenlulushen Spending time with surfers in Wanning, or digital nomads in Yunnan, avoiding 996 is just good mental health, not ่บบๅนณ - But this conversation started by you saying that I won't see new cocktail bars in Guiyang because of the exodus in people leaving Shanghai. We did in 2020.
@JohnBrkn@JChengWSJ@QiLiyan@shenlulushen I live in a very different China than you must live in. The innovation, adaptation of culture, the new ideas and the reinvented of tradition. From tea cocktails in Hangzhou, to a thriving culture of boutique hotels springing up in central China... We see China differently.
@KingRexy328 I just wish they had the behind the scenes clips they did for Planet Earth! I'm so curious how they blended them into the environment so beautifully (other than, of course, digging up some Dinos and bringing them back to life, training them, and filming it)
@newscientist The fact that this series replicated the sensational cinematography style of BBC's other nature documentaries, keeping the same beats, comedy, and moments of seemingly unplanned wildlife-on-camera madness. This was a stunning series.
