Unfortunately, most people choose 50 years of comfortable slavery over 5 years of uncomfortable discipline.
They'd rather complain about their chains than forge the keys to break them.
They see the sacrifice, the delayed gratification, and decide it's too hard -- not realising that staying where they are is actually harder in the long run.
It's simple:
A few years of voluntary struggle or a lifetime of involuntary struggle.
A few years of saying no to distractions or decades of saying yes to a life you don't want.
Most people look at discipline and see deprivation.
They don't see that discipline is actually the highest form of self-love.
It's betting on your future self instead of settling for your current circumstances.
They mistake temporary discomfort for permanent suffering, not understanding that the discomfort of discipline weighs ounces while the pain of regret weighs tons.
Don't be like them.
@dom_lucre The line that separates day and night is called the terminator and also the "twilight zone.
Here you can say night and day together, on the left it's still day (the sun is still shining) and on the right it's already a dark night with the moon.
HOLY CR*P
