@Ffspurs22@sirbobalot65@1NUFC2 So you're theory is that we should restrict the amount of money billionaires are allowed to bring into football from outside sources to keep prices lowπ€£π€£π€£ Yeah let's stop the influx of wealth and let clubs rely on shirt sales and ticket prices for revenue π€£ good logic π€£π€£π€£
@sirbobalot65@1NUFC2 Some clubs are renowned for having greedy owners who will fleece their fans for as much as they can no matter what, but even those would likely ease up a little with all of the extra wealth pouring into the game.
@agoonergamble@Crispy_85@1NUFC2 With people like the Saudi PIF investing potentially billions onto the game there would be a lot more cash flowing for all owners, so they could reduce prices.
@cearonoflynn@sirbobalot65@1NUFC2 Yes that's exactly what we have been told, all I've heard since Newcastle were bought by Saudi PIF is that it's about sports washing, now it's an investment is it. People need to make their minds up!
@sirbobalot65@1NUFC2 With clubs not having to create revenue to buy players, and an huge influx of cash into the game, prices of everything would drop dramatically. It would become a working class game again.
@Crispy_85@1NUFC2 The opposite is true, right now clubs charge huge prices because they need to bring in revenue, once that burden is lifted prices will go down dramatically.
@AfcGabz@NUFC Cry more and enjoy fatty Bruno (or is it Bueno?) and his love handles for Β£80+Β£10m addons. My concern is that I don't think Arsenal will get European football so we won't get the addons. He might not be the slowest player in the league next season if Razor Ruddock comes back.
@Iam_TestedOk@Arsenal525600@afcstuff@HandofArsenal You'll see, he has trouble with his weight which should be obvious from his (topless) physical appearance compared to his peers, you don't see many professional football players with love handles these days. Β£80m+Β£10m addons was crazy good fee together for him.
@exwtccskip@JakeH1886@Bob_Helpful Nearly all Arsenal fans wanted to sack Arteta around a year ago, Arsenal fans are so clueless they expect to win the league again, and he will be sacked mid season because of that, based soon as it's obvious Arsenal are out of the running after spending fortune again.
@JakeH1886@exwtccskip@Bob_Helpful It scares me about as much as it would scare me if Leicester won again, not at all, but it would be an anomaly far outside of standard deviation that we would all have to question what on earth is going on. Like being struck by lightning on two separate occasions.
@Arsenal525600@afcstuff@HandofArsenal Works? You obviously weren't watching him last season, he's too slow for the premier league, Newcastle did well to get rid of him when they did.
@Rory_Talks_Ball He is massive, needs to cut down on the kinder Buenos. He would never keep up with the way Newcastles manager is training his players, too slow unfortunately so had to go. Newcastle played a blunder getting rid and making it look like they didn't really want to.
