Ingrid Lewis-Martin, NYC's mayor's top advisor, who blocked nearly all progress on bus and bike lanes over the last four years and bragged that she's never ridden the subway, has been indicted for bribery to purchase a $100,000 Porsche for her son.
Karma is beautiful, man.
Thank you Eric Adams and the City Council for making sure one (1) car can park here instead of the 10-12 people I often see eating here. Let’s always prioritize storage for cars instead of more vibrant uses of public space.
Azealia Banks shares that she has decided to vote for Kamala Harris:
“I will be Voting For Kamala Harris tomorrow because Elon Musk (a fucking overrated Ketamine addict) belongs no where near American Politics. The End.”
I’m paying $16 to take an MTA train to Mamaroneck, a near-NYC suburb, right now. One way, peak.
Remind me again why @GovKathyHochul says it’s just too much to charge $15 for peak congestion pricing to drive a car into midtown Manhattan?
Earlier today, one of our officers was shot while protecting our subway system. I am relieved to report he is in good condition now, and we have arrested the suspect who put so many lives in danger. I cannot thank these officers enough for their bravery.
I ride the DC Metro more often than I do the Baltimore Metro or Light Rail and I live in Baltimore. We deserve and need more rapid transit in Charm City and while I'm proud to be working on the Baltimore Red Line project, we need more than that and we needed it yesterday.
Four people were shot **by the NYPD** over $2.90. Let that sink in.
Call us irresponsible, but we believe riders' lives and safety are worth much more than reckless, broken-windows policing at the turnstile and the senseless violence it instigates.

I've shared pieces of this earlier but I also want to do a quick 🧵 on the history of passenger railroad culture and why these railroad operators are like this. It isn't a simple "government inept" thing
I’m so proud of you @LeahFessler 💞
Leah is my dear friend. I can’t believe she would be so deeply mistreated by the party she was excited to vote for, but knowing the Democratic Party, I sadly can.
