@SteveSkojec@PaulVanderKlay It was great. It's already out in the members section, watched the whole three hours. Really compelling. Sent you an email.
@Canadian_JACD@Gingerblast I have my own ideas as to why it didn't succeed as fully as I would have liked, he's pissing and moaning now that I am running the same milieu for different groups now too, he's an intentional saboteur, if he weren't family ...
@AlchemicRaker@DunderMoose Don't even need kingdoms yet. Just a region is fine. I typically start with a 9x11 six mile hex region. This is my current, The Withermark, I have run zero prep since 1981.
@TheBasicExpert1 Dude, the group you are talking about has been an advocate for it yes, but I have been running games in zero prep mode since 1981. player agency is inversely proportional to DM prep, and some of us cracked that code long, long ago.
@Sophiologist_ I feel the same way about many American Orthodox these days, there's something gnostic about needing an alien religion to feel superior that the recent Orthobro types have in common with the California Buhhdists.
The poor Orthodox got attacked for a narrow view of Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus "out of nowhere" , you are on YouTube, surely you must have heard of the Internet... Orthobros Han Soled this shit
Here is my reaction to some of the apologetics problems that have come up in Orthodox and Protestant discussion about salvation and where the true Church is and how those are related. Hopefully it is helpful to the discussion. @OrthodoxEthos , @Acts17David , @gavinortlund , @C2Antiquity , @JayDyer , @Alex_Ortodoxie
@Phlebas_@annielcrawford What galls me about this is that he doesn't acknowledge this response from Protestants is a result of online Orthodox behavior. It's gross and offensive and you can hardly be shocked there was a retaliation.
I was unable to make this one but let Yosef use the studio, happy to be hosting in on Grail Country Salvation from the Jews Birth Rate? | JP Marceau and Yosef https://t.co/nBpY0qSSEz via @YouTube
@3KindsOfSalt There are other problems, on the other pole apart from fundamentalism yes, but fundamentalism itself is not a healthy state. You can't be so afraid of being adrift that you stay continually at anchor.
Fundamentalism is a psychological disorder. People who suffer from Fundamentalism are constitutionally unable to handle nuance or subtlety, which is why when they deconstruct from one fundamentalism, they slide easily into another. They all think in the same general pattern.
Great guys, smart guys, give it a listen
