@joeseenat@Indivdiff@RusGarbageHuman So the laws that apply to the rest of us aren't good enough for these individuals?
If this is all just personal family matters why do you need separate courts? What's wrong with the systems the rest of us use?
@joeseenat@Indivdiff@RusGarbageHuman Religion can be followed in the mosque and should be separate from legal and civil proceedings
'Family mediation', inheritance, divorce, and contracts can be handled by lawyers
If it's all bog standard stuff why do we need a separate system?
@joeseenat@Indivdiff@RusGarbageHuman You might be gullible enough to believe that UK law is respected in communities with sharia courts
Can you explain to me why these courts are necessary Mr non lefty? If we're all so moderate and pluralistic in this country?
@joeseenat@Indivdiff@RusGarbageHuman There are lots of terrible things that have no legal basis that still happen
But yes sharia courts are a real thing in the UK and unfortunately for lefties the cat is out of the bag
You're now onto "yes it is happening but its not a big deal"
@joeseenat@Indivdiff@RusGarbageHuman Yes, I'm sure that's how it is classified
And I'm sure that the people in these communities will feel no pressure at all to abide by the rulings of the sharia 'mediation' court
