@FurnitureFolk@TheGolfDivoTee I mean, clearly hyperbole, but either way the problem was he hardly ever played his best in the big tournaments. Only 2 other top 10s in majors alongside his 2 wins. Faldo was several tiers better.
@grantbn6 Brian McMillan must be one of the most underrated cricketers ever. Never gets a look in when people talk about great all rounders but he's right up there.
@BBGreatMoments The worst is Kei Igawa, enormous posting fee, contract, when the Yankees were bidding against themselves. Made like 5 starts had a 7 ERA and never seen again. 100 mil down the drain.
@JakeHaleee SHG are the best developers. MWIII was really fun, and maps were good there were even extra maps released late that never got a look. Vanguard was underrated - needed more good maps and people don't like ww2 but don't tell Bocage and Tuscan HP weren't fun.
@jarodhitchcock Golf is very different now but Faldo was unusual even in his time for his long iron prowess.
He knew he needed birdie at the 72nd in the 1990 US Open to get in a playoff and he hit 3-iron off the tee to leave himself another 3-iron. Stuck it to 15ft and lipped out. Unique really
@CDLHater Terrible take. I still think Mercules is probably the best player in the league. Even with a few lower KD games this year, look at engagements, damage, S+D skill. And the fact that they basically went from hapless to guaranteed finals as soon as they picked him up.
@FB_FilmAnalysis Football was lucky with analytics.
People worked out that doing more exciting things give you a better chance to win.
Baseball, on the other hand, was unlucky, as people worked out doing more exciting things made you less likely to win.
@Nrvs90s A freakish unplayable ball on a substandard pitch, Vince out in the 80s when playing really well, and he's never seen again. I wonder how many Tests he plays if he didnt get this ball and gets to 100 here.
Nope! I always say there is no such thing as self-made. Itβs a myth.
It took millions of people - from my parents to mentors to friends to competitors to fans and voters - to write my success story. I did not write it alone.
Thatβs the American Dream - not a lie about going it alone - but the truth that none of us do, and there is always someone with their hand out to lift us up.
@BrianStats1 It shouldn't matter what the team does for an individual award.
You can't penalise people for not winning when that depends on 3 other people too. It should just be who the best player is. Focusing on the word "valuable" is semantics.
JoeDeceives should be MVP
