BREAKING: BUSTED! Trump’s illegally appointed “fake prosecutors” refuse to step down — even after courts throw them out!

Donald Trump’s attempt to turn the Department of Justice into his own personal vendetta machine has officially entered clown-show territory — and the whole country is paying the price.

This week, federal courts again ruled that Trump’s hand-picked loyalists — people with zero prosecutorial experience, some of whom previously served as his personal attorneys — were illegally appointed as U.S. attorneys. And yet, in true MAGA fashion, these same appointees are still strutting around online and in official DOJ paperwork claiming to be the top federal prosecutors in their states.

You can’t make this up.

Start with Alina Habba, Trump’s former fixer-lawyer, who is best known for bungling legal filings and mugging for the cameras. A unanimous federal appeals panel tossed her out of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for New Jersey, ruling her appointment violated federal vacancy laws and bypassed the constitutional confirmation process.

But two days later? Habba is still posting on her DOJ account, calling herself the U.S. attorney — and the DOJ’s website still lists her as the top federal prosecutor. It’s like ignoring an eviction notice and insisting you still own the house.

And it’s not just Habba. Lindsey Halligan — another Trump loyalist without a single day of prosecutorial experience — was also disqualified after a judge found her appointment illegal.

But the DOJ website now boldly declares she’s the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia… no “acting,” no “interim,” just the full title she was legally barred from holding. Halligan is even using it in court documents — which is like showing up at a fancy restaurant wearing a fake badge and insisting you’re the health inspector.

Federal judges, including one appointed by George W. Bush, are openly warning that Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi are trying to gut the Constitution’s checks and balances. One judge wrote that Bondi’s schemes would let Trump’s cronies “avoid the gauntlet” of Senate confirmation and wield federal prosecutorial power indefinitely. Translation: Trump is trying to build a parallel justice system run entirely by his personal loyalists.

And when courts attempt to fix the mess? Trump officials either ignore the rulings or retaliate by firing the people judges did lawfully put in place.

This isn’t an accident. It’s a strategy — a lawless one.

Trump, Bondi, and their handpicked MAGA enforcers have spent months attacking judges, evading court orders, and installing unqualified loyalists who keep clinging to power even after being legally fired. At least four Trump appointees have now been ruled unlawful. Two more could be next.

The bottom line is simple: Trump is trying to run the DOJ like a corrupt cartel — and even when courts stop him, his people pretend the law doesn’t apply to them.

The question now isn’t whether Trump’s DOJ respects the Constitution.
It’s whether anyone inside his MAGA-captured Justice Department is left who remembers what the rule of law even looks like.
