Sui just hit 40.6M transactions per second in a live stress test using its programmable off-chain “tunnels.”
More than 10,000 tunnels were opened, simulating payments, games and AI-agent activity.
The interesting part: these transactions happen off-chain and settle back to @SuiNetwork mainnet when the tunnel closes.
Why does that matter?
Humans don’t need millions of transactions per second. AI agents might.
If millions of agents start paying, trading, calling APIs and interacting with each other, blockchain infrastructure will need to handle machine-speed activity.
Maybe the next blockchain race isn’t about users.
It’s about serving the machines. 👀
I actually went down the @TheMutualFun rabbit hole today.
4,001 Seats, 5 funds, weekly votes.
What got me interested is that the funds all start with the same rules, but the people inside them decide how they evolve where to allocate, how much profit to take, and how much to burn.
And the dividends sit in your seat’s on-chain Briefcase.
Interesting experiment🔍
