Hillsboro's Parks and Recreation Commission isn't pleased with how the city handled plans to build a new baseball stadium. Current and former members called it a "done deal" before they ever had a chance to weigh in.

@HillsboroNT And my last thought, let's not forget the City still owes more than $6,000,000 on the existing sports complex according to this fiscal year's budget.

@HillsboroNT There are a lot of projects proposed in the Hillsboro 2035 Community Plan that these funds could go towards. I don't remember anyone asking for a new Hops stadium.

@HillsboroNT Or marketing for Downtown to be a destination for tourism - so many of us live here because of the variety of activities and destinations nearby, why wouldn't tourists do the same?

From @brotherjones_ on the ground in Nashville— the Tennessee legislator is planning to expel lawmakers who stood with gun control advocates today.
They have been stripped from committee assignments and their member ID’s have been shut off.

@the_transit_guy Portland with as much hipster and weekend warrior as you can squeeze in. Powell's, Rose Festival, Soccer City, Rip City, rock climbing, a river through it, breweries, fixie bikes to ride around, organic urban farm (with goats of course), Darcelle's drag show...
@HowtoADHD@Real_Theresa I basically have 2 types of friends: (1) proximity friends that I work with, live by, or see frequently because of a hobby/activity overlap & (2) nonjudgmental friends that love me for who I am (unmasked) and with whom I can pick back up wherever we last left off.
