@RugbyGerrit @Springboks Think team playing in Nth Harbour School Final today - Westlake Boys will probably have a number of SA heritage kids, as it is on Nth Shore Auckland, which is ramped with SA immigrants - one kid's name is Nic Van Der Merwe😂

Already have Jordie Vilgoen NZ U20 (son ex Stormers/grandfather Bok) playing for Hurricanes.

Saw another kid named JD Van der Westhuizen played for NZ U20 this year.

30% of the population in NZ were born overseas.

That's the difference between NZ and SA.

People want to come and live in NZ, in SA they just want to leave.

Then there are now more Tongans and Samoans living in NZ than there are actually in the Islands.

As a hint, look at the Tongan and Samoan National sides and look at how many are born in NZ and Oz.

@moi_pseudo Yes, have to agree there. Current team are showing exactly what the Boks have been missing for years with the likes of Sacha, Damian W.

Reality is that the current AB team would be lucky to get a couple of players into Bok team.

@KoroTeeps Could be but as under legal contract - both parties have to agree to termination.

Think Max for an ITM cup player is 50k - so not bad $$ pretty hard to give up I would imagine.

Jap clubs could always buy them out of their ITM cup contract - just have to come to $$ compenstation

@slatterywill Ire team have some issues - age profile, lack of X Factor, what to do when JGP retires.

But as an AB Fan - Ireland won the 2nd half, scrum - missing the likes of Porter, was stable (Consider Boks in Nov), Pendergrast - looked good and finally a really well coached side.

@PunterRugby Personally think Ireland are a great team, extremely well coached and over-achievers.

That being said, unless they can discover X Factor players, age profile of team and watching results of Irish U20, think post WC, going to be tough for Ireland.
