(Btw not dismissing the power of “primitive” societies to retain multi-generational knowledge in traditions. I just realized at the time scale needed, natural selection was prob the main factor, not a multi-gen experiment, and then was sobered by the implications of that.)

brush-burning traditions might have been helping local flora. Thought “man how did a primitive society retain knowledge long enough to hone that balance?” Then realized, they probably didn’t. The societies with less harmonious traditions just died.

Theory: One reason AI is so overused is the same reason most execs are a “type“. AI “reasoning” (do whatever moves toward the goal) is often exhibited by these people. The exec role selects for these types who see AI as universally applicable, because it’s worked for them.

@bconn73 @thescottbarber With an open mind looking for wisdom and leaving behind the dogma, the Bible has a lot of goodness to share. Fred Rogers was definitely inspired by his faith, but i think the most impactful thing he drew from it was unconditional acceptance and love. That stands alone.

@iPsychWizard I’d love to see our government work with homeschool groups and parents and enable them as teammates. That could even be a reciprocal relationship; homeschool groups could help educate kids in the pubic school system if they were given the tools and met standards.

Never mind the fact that it was private businesses enslaving people and profiting off of them, with govt support.
