@DrMattGutierrez Here is what I find interesting, except for technology used in the classroom, we have not changed how we teach for over 123 years. Plus COVID teaching was hard when the students didn’t do much to participate.

Let us not forget the Nazi's started banning books, re-wrote curriculums, fired Jewish & anti-Nazi teachers, arrested/killed Catholic priests, but most of all; fabricated "fake news".
Currently in our WWII unit & next week we start the Holocaust. I can't help but notice some similarities between the Nazi Propaganda and our current political climate in certain states.
Here are Hitler's Basic Principles: (These principles are abstracted from Jowett & O'Donnell)
1.Avoid abstract ideas - appeal to the emotions.
2. Constantly repeat just a few ideas. Use stereotyped phrases.
3. Give only one side of the argument.
4. Continuously criticize your opponents.
5. Pick out one special "enemy" for special vilification.
