The Grassroots Report

An online newspaper, designed to give voice to the players, teams, and stories that too often go unnoticed. We don’t just report scores—we dig deeper.

@GovTimWalz Oh. Saying that these kids are wearing hijabs is an attack? Do you find that insulting? Maybe, just maybe, the president is rightly worrird about children living under an oppressive ideology. The same ideology responsible for 99.9% of terror attacks and child rape across the 🌎.

@strtznolie Thank you. A lot of worrying behavior coming out of St. John Bosco.

@strtznolie Good. Let's keep it that way.

When St. John Bosco's Former Head Coach Jason Negro Allegedly Paid Tuition for Select Players, using embezzled funds, other students lost opportunities.

@strtznolie @dubclub777 If you could see it, why wasn't the CIF seeing what you were seeing and where were the mainstream reporters?

[The Grassroots Report @GrassrootsRPT]

X users knew that Bishop Montgomery's transfers were problematic before mainstream journalists ever said anything. Are other violations going unnoticed or uncovered?

[The Grassroots Report @GrassrootsRPT]

@dubclub777 @strtznolie 100% true. It's hard to watch the kids who are affected when a handful of bad actors decide that they're above the rules.

[The Grassroots Report @GrassrootsRPT]

@strtznolie @dubclub777 You predicted that Bishop Montgomery would get caught, several months back. When did you figure out what was happening?

[The Grassroots Report @GrassrootsRPT]

@dubclub777 @strtznolie So, what created the change? Who was behind it and how do we address this growing problem in City Section?

[The Grassroots Report @GrassrootsRPT]

Sondheimer remarks that he "doesn't need a haircut now," but praises the entrepreneurial spirit of the players who are cut other players' hair. Montes makes the case success does not hinge on height.

@strtznolie is asking what happened to the students caught up in the transfer scandal at Narbonne in 2024. He suggests that the behavior of their coaches affected their futures, not just the season. Are these shortcuts really worth the long term damages done to the kids?

[strtznolie @strtznolie]

Narbonne... Where are they now? Please feel free to add and/or correct me.

[The Grassroots Report @GrassrootsRPT]

@dubclub777 @strtznolie So, what changed? If Narbonne really hadn't ever done anything illegal before and it was producing talent - why did they change the formula and let their ethics lapse?
