I can confirm that it has happened to me-kids are very liberal and have decided they don’t want to spend any time with me and apparently don’t want me to influence my toddler grandchild. I’m hoping this changes-we had a great relationship a couple years ago but the ICE surge in Minnesota really put them over the edge-we barely see them now-so sad and unnecessary.
