I do not understand how people who work for an organization whose job it is to cover distressing events could demand trigger warnings before discussions of distressing events. The news comes at you. If you work for the Times, you have to engage with it, without warning.
This is purely anecdotal, but I have talked to so many people who voted by mail in previous elections but are waiting to take their daughters to vote in person for Kamala Harris on election day.
This post describes an incident during my canvass this afternoon, and perhaps affords a glimpse of what America might look like under a Trump presidency. @matthewjdowd@djrothkopf
@MorePerfectUS The woman who works at the Giant Eagle grocery store and is a @UFCW member says she doesn't get paid sick leave. Sounds like her union has not done a good job of negotiating a contract that benefits workers.

In our ad "Mr. Walz," Carly shared how she was bullied for her Christian faith until her teacher intervened. Tim Walz not only put a stop to the bullying but also took the time to affirm her Christian identity, inspiring her to become a public school teacher in Texas, where she was recently named teacher of the year.
With 2 days left, let’s help elect Tim Walz and Kamala Harris into office to continue to inspire other to stand firm in their faith and their values.

Just had the best time calling voters in WI and PA for @KamalaHarris ! The stories I heard reinforced why we have to win this election for our daughters, mothers, aunts, grandmothers and nieces -- and for the economy and our democracy. Thank you, @KamalaHQ : let's win this!
We're all excited about @KamalaHarris's momentum. But I want to suggest that even if you're in a state that is in no way competitive, it's still important to vote. Trump's efforts to overturn a loss will be harder with a big lead nationwide. The popular vote matters this year
@Lawrence@kevinddaly That's some brilliant political gamesmanship on Johnson's part, threatening to repeal a bill that will provide thousands of jobs in the Syracuse congressional district where you're stumping for a Republican incumbent who narrowly won the seat two years ago.
@StephMachado@DanMcGowan I don't think the problem is finding a specific location for Hasbro in Providence/Pawtucket as much as the perception that many of the people they're looking to hire will find Boston a more attractive place to live.
@StephMachado@DanMcGowan Hasbro thinks it'll be easier to hire in Boston. From Shirley Leung's column: Ultimately, the move is about the ability to attract young creative talent, and that’s a lot easier to do in Massachusetts than in Rhode Island, say people who have been helping with the search.
