Judge Robert Whitwell has ruled in favor of Trinidad Chambliss, granting a preliminary injunction.
This for all intents and purposes gives Ole Miss its quarterback for 2026. He offered it while getting emotional.
Breaking: Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss has been granted a sixth season of eligibility by a Mississippi state court judge, clearing the way for him to play in 2026.
The NCAA can still appeal.

The announcers of the 2024 DII Championship game understood that Trinidad Chambliss hadn’t played in 2022-23 because of an illness that qualified him for a medical redshirt, which apparently was the belief of most people who followed FSU’s football program.
