For the first time in 75 years, the Sam Mcguire Cup comes home to Mayo, Ireland.

I said it three years ago when I was in Ballina: Mayo for Sam!

And I meant it.

I said it because I know what it means not just the county of Mayo but to my own family’s story.

Today, the dream becomes reality.

How many of us would be shocked if it is later revealed he has a crimal offense record longer than Adam Schiff's pencilly neck? Not many! BECAUSE CLOSE TO ALL CRIME IS COMMITTED BY 2% OF THE POPULATION. The longer and harsher we make juvenile and young adult sentences the less crime we will have. Society's punishing of youth who have not received proper parenting skills is not Draconian or Barbaric. It is quite the opposite. Discipline is the three fold cord of Love. Love for the child, love for the community and love of "law and order" which protects all who adhere to its wisdom. How sadly ironic that a peace officer had to lose his son to the policies of an obviously Godless nation. "Spare the rod, spoil the child!"
This man raised his son well, "he was going to the store to BUY (not steal) a ball" only to lose his life to a parentless and societally orphaned miscreant.
