@Shredder1400 Aside from direct linked sequels I don't think it really matters. It depends a lot more on what the person enjoys and is looking for in a game. It isn't like I started from the beginning. I played the latest entries first then went back to earlier titles later on.
@TheDavidVinc@Scralotos That is very generous of you to assume they are even reading what you write with the intent to engage sincerely. The absolute disconnect between what you said and how they replied did make me laugh though.
I haven't played the game, but I am surprised those bands are missing.
@TheDavidVinc Congratulations! The passion and love you have for JRPGs always makes your content captivating. Watching it reminds me why I fell in love with it as a child too. Not that I ever stopped playing it.
@MightyKeef Final Fantasy IV
Morrowind
Dragon Quest XI
Ni No Kuni
Tales of Xillia
There are quite a few others that I really love as RPGs are my favourite genre.
@pcgamer Politics when done well can really enhance the quality of a game narrative and world building. Agreed that politics are built into a lot of games and media in general. Definitely planning on getting this game, as it sounds really promising.
@intrepidlotus Which is fair enough. It is their job to make a compelling case for why you should trust them to represent you and your values. From an outsider perspective, their conduct while in power and while running their campaign was atrociously disastrous.
@alyssa_merc Absolutely agreed, it is so frustrating watching them either fail to campaign on proper left wing politics or not implementing the few that they do actually campaign on. It is like they were actively trying to lose.
@Dexerto It is all relative. I think there are way too many variables between the two categories to definitively say one is harder than the other. Depends entirely on things like what genre and schedule for the streaming, what 9-5 job in particular and individual circumstance/attributes
@airbagged They are also conflating so many different metrics with each other. As you rightly highlight concurrent players is unreliable at best. Both in terms of short term and long term sales. Not that sales themselves definitively establish anything outside of financial success.
@Dexerto It is a pretty logical step to take. Hopefully it helps avoid unnecessary drama as I can't even see why anyone from that community would want to go there. Besides trolling and harassment of course.
@MightyKeef I have made sure to not engage with any of that kind of content on YouTube, so it barely gets suggested for me thankfully. Which means that the gaming atmosphere for me over there is still incredibly constructive and/or entertaining.
@Gothalion I am also pretty early into the game myself and I am enjoying it so far. It isn't my first Dragon Age either. I have played the 3 previous entries and watched the animated movie.
@RealTruggler It is the particulars, like the theories, interpretations, or desires which should be where the interesting and engaging discussion and disagreements happen.
@RealTruggler I am constantly amazed at the controversies that exist. It had never occurred to me to be upset at anyone using the names of characters or moves from the Japanese source. I had always assumed that as Dragon Ball fans, it only matters we can understand what is being referenced.
@airbagged I will always be confused why so much stock is put on the numbered rating. Surely if you are to take anything from a review the substance of the review itself is what should hold more merit. Bad enough when the audience glorify the scores and even worse when management do.
@Jenna31337 @Oceania_MOT @Kotaku Were the 1943 and 49 ones movies though? It is my understanding, which could very well be wrong as I hadn't heard of them previously, that they are serials as opposed to movies. Yeah, you are right that they missed a lot of animated films. I acknowledge that point.
