@DarlaElenbaas I was speaking in general- because of the cultural climate in the US for the past decade plus. Re: your scenario, I’ll say this: I follow folks ON PURPOSE that I DON’T agree with, to gain insight as to their WHY. Understanding means to STAND UNDER - another’s view, position, etc.

@DarlaElenbaas I can understand. You should’ve seen the scathing reaction of church folk when a preacher said he DIDN’T vote for Trump over the pulpit. He said he didn’t vote for Biden either. Didn’t matter- to those folk, he had committed some form of venal HERESY. This is what Beth addressed.
