@XTwArsx@RepMackenzie The comments speak for themselves, just Turkish bots and Islamists, the enemies of a secular Syria, disagree. The only propaganda here is your response to us retweeting this announcement.
Reports of violence and persecution against religious and ethnic minorities in Syria are deeply concerning, and those responsible for these abuses must be held accountable.
That’s why I’ve introduced the Protection of Syrian Religious and Ethnic Minorities Act.
This legislation is necessary to strengthen congressional oversight, identify individuals responsible for serious human rights violations, and ensure the United States is using the tools available to hold perpetrators accountable. Protecting religious freedom and fundamental human rights must remain a priority as Syria navigates its future.
Thank you to our friends at @indefchristians, @AlawitesAAUS, and @AmericanSyriacU, for their support.
On behalf of all Rūm-Syrians, we'd like to urge all members of the Hellenic caucus to support H.R.10827 - Protection of Syrian Religious and Ethnic Minorities Act.
