My take:
Part of the EU is under occupation by Turkish Muslims in Northern Cyprus, and the Union is acting like a bunch of cowards, doing absolutely nothing about it. The EU is a rotten, worthless entity that brings negative value to its member states. They don’t even consider threatening the Turkish Muslims to force them to return the occupied territory to its rightful owner, which is a full member state of the Union.
Furthermore, the immigration of Turkish Muslims from Turkey to Northern Cyprus is illegal immigration, and the settlements they have built there are illegal settlements on occupied territory.

Three years after Turkey joined NATO, the Turkish government orchestrated a violent, state-sponsored pogrom targeting Istanbul’s Greek, Armenian, and Jewish minority populations in 1955.
On September 6th of that year, Muslim mobs devastated the Greek, Armenian, and Jewish districts of Istanbul. They destroyed and looted the homes, offices, shops, and schools of non-Muslims, as well as their places of worship. Holy images, crosses, and icons were defaced. Some churches were set alight and completely burned.
Mobs beat and injured many people, destroyed graveyards, exhumed the dead from their graves and dragged them through the streets. The scope of the savagery was beyond words.
Some 200 Greek women were raped. It was also reported that Greek boys were raped and that a priest was burned alive. Many Greek men, including at least one priest, were forcibly circumcized.
A list of rape victims was compiled by the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Greek consul general.
Professor Speros Vryonis also reported that “according to the Istanbul police, 2,572 Greek, 741 Armenian, and 523 Jewish businesses were destroyed.”
The pogrom accelerated Greek migration from the city. Today only around 1,600 Greeks remain.
It’s not just about Erdogan’s dictatorship. Even in 1952, Turkey did not “meet the criteria on democracy, rule of law, and human rights” to be a NATO member.

Tucker Carlson has never read about the pogroms against the Greek Christians of Constantinople carried out by Muslim Turks that took place in 1955, just 70 years ago. These events took place roughly 30 years after the Greek-Armenian-Assyrian genocide, which was motivated by both religious and racial hatred. By then, the goal was to completely erase every remaining Greek element from Asia Minor.
Their next target was the once-Greek Constantinople. It was a warm September evening in 1955, in the heart of Constantinople, a city still echoing with the ghosts of its Greek-Byzantine past.
The Greek community was already marginalized by years of discriminatory policies, felt the weight of suspicion. After the fall of Constantinople, thousands were slaughtered, but they tried to keep the flame alive.
But, on September 6 (1955), a false report spread like a spark in dry grass: a bomb had allegedly damaged the Turkish consulate in Thessaloniki, near the house where Mustafa Kemal was born.
The bombing was a staged provocation, orchestrated by Turkish authorities to incite rage. By dusk, Constantinople was a tinderbox. Mobs, organized and armed with clubs, knives, and gasoline, poured into the streets, targeting Greek homes, businesses, and churches. The government’s role was clear; lists of Greek properties had been prepared in advance, and the police stood by, complicit or indifferent. It was all staged. A plan with only one purpose. To murder innocent Greek Christians that were living peacefully in the land of their ancestors, in the City that was built by their fathers.
A crowd, chanting Kemalist slogans just like the days of the Genocide of 1922, smashes windows, looting everything; shelves, ovens, even family photos. The mob moves with precision, targeting Greek-owned properties. Churches, like the Zoodochos Pigi in Balat, are desecrated; holy icons are shattered, and altars burned. The Greek cemetery in Şişli is vandalized, graves defiled in an orgy of destruction.
4,348 Greek businesses, 110 hotels, 27 pharmacies, 23 schools, and 73 churches were damaged or destroyed.
Many Greeks were killed, hundreds injured and numerous women assaulted. The mobs, often transported from outside Constantinople, carried out their rampage over two days, September 6–7, leaving the Greek community in ruins.
The pogrom was a death knell. Many lost everything; homes, livelihoods, security. Greeks of Constantinople were reducing over time already after the fall in 1453. But that was the final hit.
The exodus of Greeks from Turkey, reduced the community of over 250.000 to fewer than 2.000 today.
As dawn broke on September 7, Constantinople became "Istanbul". The last Greeks, descendants of those who found the City, who built the city, who defended the City, who had history in this City, were expelled from their ancestral homeland.
Streets were littered with broken glass and shattered dreams. The Greek community, a cornerstone of the city’s history, was left to pick up the pieces.
That was, the anti-Greek "Istanbul pogrom" that took place on 6–7 September 1955.
These events are fresh in our memories. How can we forget all the thing they did to us? They came and they expelled Greeks from their homes.
Constantinople, Asia Minor, Cappadocia, Pontus, Cyprus, Ionia.
We will never forget, everything they did to us.
We will never coexist with them.
For your information: After the Central Asian Turkish Muslims invaded Greek Christian Anatolia and annihilated Christianity until a mere 0.2% remained, this is still not enough for them: today’s Turkish Muslims continue to torment and persecute the surviving remnant until not a single living Christian remains in the country.

Key findings:
❌ Maintains a formal casus belli (threat of war) against Greece for exercising its lawful right to extend its territorial sea to 12 nautical miles. The Parliament describes this as inconceivable between allies and good neighbours.

⚠️The problem in Turkey isn’t Erdogan. It’s Turkey.
For decades, it has been shaped by a blend of neo-Ottoman ambition, and Islamist ideology-accompanied by revisionist rhetoric, military posturing and territorial claims against its neighbours.
This is a NATO member that threatens fellow allies, arms Islamist groups across the region, weaponizes migration for political leverage, and routinely holds its partners hostage for concessions.
Turkey is not merely a difficult ally. It is a security threat to the entire region.

More than 3,000 Greek islands and islets form continuous geographic chains stretching across the Aegean from the Greek mainland to the coast of Asia Minor, defining the sea’s very character and geography.
Turkey has a coast to the eastern edge of the Aegean, but every island located beyond three miles from the Turkish coast is internationally recognized as Greek sovereign territory.
These islands are not abstract geographic features. They are sovereign Greek territory with permanent populations, political administration, economic life, and internationally recognised status. The waters between them belong, under any honest reading of international law, within Greek sovereignty.
These islands are entitled to maritime rights and zones just like mainland territory. That is not a Greek position. That is international law.
❌The mere fact that Greek islands sit near the Turkish coast does not, under any recognised legal framework, diminish their maritime rights.
❌International law does not cease to exist because Turkey dislikes its consequences.
The accusation that Greece advances “maximalist” claims is fundamentally dishonest.
❗️Greece claims nothing beyond what international law unconditionally grants every coastal state on the planet.
A 12nm territorial sea and corresponding sovereign airspace, continental shelf and EEZ entitlements.
Every nation on Earth exercises these rights without question or challenge. Greece should be no exception simply because Turkey is its neighbour.
What Turkey calls “maximalism” is, in reality, Greece refusing to surrender sovereign rights guaranteed under international law.
Ankara’s talk of “equity” and “fairness” is ultimately a Turkish demand that Greece should share what legally belongs to it.

A NATO member explicitly threatening ballistic missile strikes on the capital of another NATO member and what does the alliance do? Nothing whatsoever, silence.
How about the EU?
Same story. They lecture the world on “European solidarity,” “rule of law” and “collective defense,” yet consistently looks the other way when it comes to Turkish aggression against Greece, a full EU and NATO member state.
This isn’t new, it’s been going on for decades:

❌In reality, this is a systematic assault on the sovereignty of Greece and Cyprus. Real disputes are resolved within an agreed legal framework. Turkey rejects that framework whenever it limits Turkish ambitions and instead uses military pressure, coercion, and instability to rewrite the rules in its favour.
Turkey has built an entire regional doctrine around challenging borders, sovereign rights, and international legal norms whenever they conflict with its geopolitical ambitions. It refuses to ratify the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, rejects the legal rights of Greek islands, and demands vast maritime zones based not on international law, but on what it believes Turkish power entitles it to claim.
This is not a normal “dispute” between equal legal positions. Greece and Cyprus are defending their sovereign rights under established international law; Turkey is openly attempting to revise it.

The Turkish Nazi Regime: Between 1913 and 1923, hundreds of thousands of Greeks were murdered during the Greek Genocide, yet Turkey continues to deny it. History doesn’t disappear because it’s inconvenient. Recognition and accountability are long overdue.
In 1974, only 52 years ago, the Muslim barbarian Turks invaded Cyprus and committed crimes against Greeks that the human mind cannot comprehend and the whole world never heard about them. Mass murders of civilians were carried out systematically by the Turkish army. Not only unarmed soldiers who had surrendered, but also civilians, including children aged from 6 months to 11 years old, women, and elderly people up to 90 years of age, even paralysed individuals, people with intellectual disabilities, and blind people, were killed by Turkish soldiers.
Eyewitnesses reported the killing of hundreds of persons by the Turkish forces. The accusations also include the murder of individuals who had attempted to visit areas under Turkish military control in order to collect their belongings from their homes.
According to the report, the Turkish committed mass and repeated rapes of Greek Christian women of all ages, from 12 to 71 years old, in some cases to such an extent that the victims suffered from haemorrhages (loss of blood from a damaged blood vessel) or were left as mental wrecks. All the women and girls were gathered in separate rooms of empty houses. There they were repeatedly raped by the Turkish troops.
In some cases, members of the same family were repeatedly raped in front of their own children. In other cases, women were raped publicly in a bestial manner. In some instances, the rapes were accompanied by brutal acts, such as violent biting that caused serious wounds to the victims, banging of the head on the floor, and strangling of the neck almost to the point of suffocation. In several cases, attempts at rape were accompanied by stabbing or the killing of the victim. Pregnant women were also among the rape victims.
Among many other cases, a mentally retarded girl was raped in her home by twenty soldiers, one after the other. When the victim began to scream, they threw her from the window of the second floor: she suffered a spinal injury and remained paralysed.
"They put us in a school classroom in Voni, along with the rest of the family. They would come in whenever they wanted, choose us, and take us to satisfy their sexual desires. I didn't go out to get rations. I always wore my grandmother's clothes to look old, but they could see my face. I only went out when I needed the toilet. I was constantly wrapped in a blanket, and all the little kids sat on top of me so that the Turks wouldn't keep dragging me away and raping me. This lasted for three months, until the Red Cross arrived."

The crime described took place in the occupied village of Voni in the Nicosia province, which had been used by the Turkish army as a detention camp for women and children. Similar camps had also been set up in the villages of Vitsada, Marathovouno, and Gypsou in the Famagusta province, where, according to testimonies, systematic rapes were committed by the Turkish army.
Hundreds were also the abortions that were carried out en masse in the second half of 1974 in Cyprus. According to testimonies from doctors recorded in the book by Chrysanthos Chrysanthou, "The Other War of the Doctors in 1974," hundreds of brutally abused women became pregnant and special legislation had to be passed so that they could terminate their pregnancies. Many abortions were performed in private clinics, several at the Nicosia General Hospital, while due to the overcrowding of that hospital with war wounded, many abortions were undertaken by doctors at the hospitals of the British Bases in Dhekelia and Akrotiri.
Previously, many other women had miscarried using abortion pills, which were distributed to them by the Red Cross while they were still in the Turkish army's detention camps; a fact that leads to the conclusion that the brutalities of the Turkish soldiers were known even before the liberation of the captive women. It is noted that, in order to facilitate the process of mass abortions, even the Church of Cyprus had consented through its tolerance to the amendment of the legislation in 1974, so that the abortions of that period became legal.
This happened 52 years ago. This happened to our mothers, to our sisters, to our grandmothers.
We will never forget, so this will never happen again.
We will rest when the terrorist state of Turkey will be destroyed.

BREAKING: Islamist councillors in West Sydney mocked a motion for Greek Independence Day last week, denying the existence of historic Ottoman Empire atrocities against Greek Christians.
One Islamist councillor stood up and denied the existence of the Jizya tax under the Ottomans, calling it ''uncorrect'' information that was ''offensive'' to the multicultural ''harmony'' of West Sydney.
The Jizya tax was essentially a tax that the Ottoman Empire forced on non-Muslims as second class citizens.
Greek Christians were forced to pay this tax as a special penalty for not being Muslim. It was designed to try force people to convert.
The Canterbury-Bankstown council covers Lakemba and Bankstown, the areas where the Bondi shooter Navid Akram was radicalized. It's been subject to mass demographic and cultural change over recent decades.
The suburb of Earlwood in this council area has one of the highest concentrations of Greeks anywhere in the world outside of Greece. Up to 25% of the population is Greek Australian, which is why independent councillor Barbara Coorey (an Australian of Lebanese Maronite Christian heritage) moved this motion and spoke about Ottoman atrocities.
Now the Greek Australians in the area live under Islamist councillors who mock the atrocities that their ancestors went through while living under the rule of a foreign caliphate.
And the hypocrisy is unreal. The Canterbury Bankstown council fly the Palestine flag over their council chambers and constantly speak about Gaza and genocide. Yet these Islamist councillors mock Ottoman genocide against the Greeks, Armenians and other Christian minorities.
Can you feel the diversity?
Under Erdogan, Turkey’s Brotherhood network is radiating out from Ankara.
As it threatens havoc in Syria, the Palestinian territories, Libya, and elsewhere, Washington should not exempt Erdogan from consequences of harboring, funding, and defending terrorists.
