Part of joining is having a new world of opportunities available to you. And when you pursue them, you grow. That’s the whole point.
@wolveshestyles Sometimes it seems like they make a bigger deal of getting cute pics than actually putting in sweat equity... but there are plenty of hard-working, serious events out there that really help.
@astoldbytaty They’re a way to find a family away from home, learn leadership skills in a safer environment so you’re ready for the work world, and have fun in group settings that can’t be duplicated by small groups of friends because of economies of scale.
Some groups get it wrong, but...
@itshalex If you’re sincere about joining and give the process a chance, you will find a fit.
But if you go to two sororities and feel uncomfortable and abandon the process, it might end poorly for you.
@HSUGREEK Looks like you all had a good time. That’s a good idea you had going to the humane society. Don’t see that very often, but they’re all over the country.
