Daily stats and weather tidbits from a meteorologist who's lived in Greeley since 1977. Stats usually around 7:30 AM/9:30 PM. "Midtown" is my home near Target.
The sprinkler settings from @greeleywx are based on systems set so 100% = 1" of water per week. The number is turf evapotranspiration from the @coagmet Greeley site, minus observed rainfall over the last week (or longer for heavy rain) from @cocorahs. #cowx
Spoiler alert: Yes
Instead of a careful plan to put resources where needed and manage the change, we got sudden chaotic cuts based on who was ready to retire or leave no matter where they were. 1/6

This is an attempt to invalidate the oath of office that every federal employee made, TO THE CONSTITUTION. It's forcing a conflict for everyone: obey the President, or keep your oath.
If he acts on this, it's clearly impeachable.
1) This is the executive order that establishes Trump as dictator. It’s also how Trump is going to get around the court orders and defy them. By forcing federal employees to do it or be fired. So now the president alone interprets law. There’s a lot to cover, so let’s begin⬇️
@ProjectConstitu@DOGE This is a real thing.
Methane production from agriculture is a serious part of how we're changing the atmosphere we live in. And there are things we can do about it.
To ridicule it without trying to understand it is dishonest. Maybe ask why before you do this?
By 20th century standards, we've had 3 slightly below normal winters in the last 30 years. When I was growing up here, the coldest day of the year was -20 EVERY YEAR. Now for the same location that number is something like -10, and sometimes -5. This is a robust finding. #cowx
This is actually the mosy obviou signs our climate is changing, if you look at the data.
What we think of as "cold winter" now, was about average in the 20th century. Ask old timers!
Greeley kept a plow on the ice at Glenmere to clear the lake for hockey and skating. 1/2

It actually hasn't been that cold this winter in Denver!
"Wait, WHAT BIANCHI?! It's been a BRUTAL winter!"
We're exactly 0.5° below average since Dec. 1, despite 3 true Arctic outbreaks (including this week).
It's our *70th* coldest start to a winter on record.
