This week, 5 of us have travelled to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to attend @RamsarConv. We will present about a Wetlands village in the Okavango Delta called Sexaxa Village. The women have created Sexaxa Womens Enterprise, and are looking to diversify their industry

“AMCEN has carried Africa’s voice for 40 years. Now, we must rise not just for the AMCEN we want — but for the Africa we deserve.”

The @_AfricanUnion reminded us that land degradation, pollution, and climate shocks are escalating — but so is the power of African solutions.

Civil society demanded courage: reject hazardous tech, scale up clean energy, and put communities at the center.

The next 40 years start with us — and they start now.

Today, we celebrate International Day of Forests with the students at Enko School. Together with our partners, we have planted 150 shade and fruit trees. These trees started at a height of 40 cm and have now grown to 1.5 meters tall

We planted the Cavendish variety and Sweet William variety.
The 25 banana trees are watered using kitchen and shower grey water
