@LOTTracks @mrslowking642 If they do that, I think they’d just sell them alongside the original range. If the only change is a face swap and livery tweak, they can pass them off as just new variants of existing characters. The new show reuses the CGI models anyway.

@plarailfan People freaking out like “OMG THE TENDER ENGINES ARE ACTUALLY BIGGER NOW” is actually really telling of how much Mattel has screwed up the toys. It shouldn’t HAVE be that exciting or exclusive. It’s the bare minimum.

I’m not gonna lie. If you enjoy this new show, I am genuinely jealous. But, the faces, everyone still being voiced and treated as kids, and the way they move. This show seems to be trying to put a band aid on the gaping infected wound that was AEG. I’m already checked out again.

@maithwaite_man If you mean what SET im recreating, it’s loosely based on the waterfall bridge from season 3. The bridge was modeled by @Junctionmalfunk and I detailed it up with clay, and the hills in front were made from cardboard, wooden blocks, newspaper, and plaster wrap.

@Phunny_Mann Thomas has lots of female characters, they’re just sorely underused

Rosie, Molly, Flora, hell, even rolling stock charcters like Old Slow Coach just never caught on and it sucks. Glad we’ve got tons of fan stories cooked up with them.
