@Evil_FloridaMan@MBTYuGiOh I want to find some sort of honorable strategy for the Morganites, but to my (limited) knowledge, the only thing they're good for is Stun. Honestly tragic.
Genesys is one of the best things to happen to YuGiOh, Battle Pack is one of the most fondly remembered formats, and while Time "Travel" is worse when compared to Time "Wizard", it's still something at least. Pokemon only has standard, the thing we used to complain about YGO.
Pokemon needs to do what YuGiOh did and come up with really good alternative formats. Standard has a boatload of problems, Expanded is a nightmare, and GLC is missing quite a bit of support.
Unless y'all grow a solid Cube Community, you NEED a new format.
Each deck over $50 plays Unfair Stamp which is currently $18
Overall, the game is incredibly affordable right now considering Stamp is a 1-per deck card
Both Teal Mask decks are running Stamp AND 4x Teal Mask which are $5 each
10/10, no notes except I should edit photos better
@justmunchin@ElizaSheetposts Yugioh just got a $40 product that gives you a LOT of competitive cards really quickly.
Magic the Gathering has formats that can cost as little as $50 per deck.
Pokemon requires you to play the card "Unfair Stamp" (Forcing your opp to a 2-card hand).
The reason is "Fun Factor".
remember when capcom made a really good new megaman game after almost 8 years and everyone said it was a return to form and they're excited for the future of the series, and now it's almost 8 years since then & we havent gotten a new game since?
being a fan of this series sucks.
@direYGO Why does this nightmare of a card seem so much more fair than the others??? Sure one goes +2 (Better than Pot of Greed); but it's not like going plus infinity, nor is it like "you can't play the game".
@Fresc0Bain@MBTYuGiOh Close, but no. Whether it has a recursion issue or not, it's apparently ALREADY competing. It placed high at a few regionals, meaning that I'm completely incorrect.
@Daxonion@MBTYuGiOh Yeah, as noted in the Stream (and the other replies on this post), I was just... UNFATHOMABLY incorrect. I didn't realize that R.B. had a powerful second wave of support.
