@alpergintr You are describing to me the roots of two great trees intertwined. The first are the roots of bio regional and community gatherings that can be empowered. The second are global circles centred around our passions such as regenerative communities where colloboration can flourish.

@climatedespair @sellieyoung Well i think @JimiCohen starting point is very simple- plant trees. Add to this lets clean up and phase out plastic. One of the fathers of #permaculture Bill Mollison said you only need to plant 100 trees to feed yourself for life.

@cognitivepolicy If it was backed by gold then the faith comes from a collective view of the value of something physical. Perhaps a better backing would be a network of protected eco systems around the world. Its weird that much of the USD pays for oil which is burnt and disappears.

@MagmaMapper @schetty UBI has many positives and we saw the impacts in Australia when they lifted social security payments during lockdowns. Gave people the ability to make positive changes in their lives. Imagine the positive impacts this would have on mother earth putting together a true green army.

@schetty Somewhere along the line by calling something "tech" based all logic and reason go out the door and the "smart" people throw money at the hype. They were just leasing and subleasing space. Nothing new just hype and the ability to burn through money.
