In 1791, 300,000 families just stopped buying slave sugar. No march, no riot, just a decision made at 300,000 kitchen tables.

In 1792, 519 petitions carrying 390,000 names hit Parliament, most signed by people who couldn't vote themselves.

In 1807, Britain banned the trade.

Then the slave owners sent Britain a bill for the 800,000 people they still held. 💷 £20 million. About 40% of the entire government budget at the time.

The Treasury says it wasn't paid off until 2015. So if your family paid British tax before then, they helped buy 800,000 people their freedom.

From 1808 the Royal Navy spent 60 years hunting slave ships at sea: 1,600 stopped, 150,000 people freed, and 1,600 British sailors dead, mostly of disease, buried thousands of miles from home. ⚓

In 1816 they ended two centuries of Barbary corsairs enslaving Europeans.

In 1896 a war that lasted 38 minutes ended slavery in Zanzibar. 🇹🇿

Almost every country on Earth outlaws slavery today.

Alice Nderitu. Most people don't know that name.

I talk about her all the time. Why is she important? She was one of the world's preeminent experts on genocide.

She's a Kenyan woman, not a Jew, not married to a Jew, obviously not Israeli.

She rose in the ranks of international communities around the world because of her tremendous expertise in this field.

And she she reached the pinnacle of this field. She became the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Crime of Genocide and the Prevention of Genocide.

She became the world's preeminent and most prominent source on whether genocides were happening around the world and how to prevent them.

And she was adamant and clear that there was no genocide in Gaza, that it was the furthest thing from a genocide, that Israel spent tremendous amounts of money and effort and had an entire organization of its government devoted to preserving and protecting the lives of uninvolved Palestinian citizens.

And then what did Alice Nderitu get for telling the truth at the United Nations?

She was fired. Her contract was not renewed, and someone who would toe the party line was placed there in her stead.

And it's the fact that no one even knows her name that shows you what it looks like to lose an information war in the West.

We must re-remember the idiom: “no good deed goes unpunished”

A sizeable percentage of those demanding money were sold by their own African rulers and were freed by British people’s money, toil and lives.

Gifted the beautiful Caribbean islands, freed by the British people paying around £70 million (in today’s money) for their freedom, further expenditure of 40% of GDP, British naval lives lost fighting to end slavery for many decades, British people funding infrastructure, health and education, and who have for hundreds of years ploughed huge sums of money into those islands annually.

Sod off to those manipulative, thieving toe-rags.

Hamas’s fascist militias attacked civilians in Khan Younis today, shooting, wounding, and kidnapping several, then retreated straight into the Nasser Hospital Medical Complex, where they’ve built torture rooms and interrogation chambers in full view of UN agencies and international NGOs. And still, the “pro‑Palestine” industrial complex won’t say a word. Not Hasan Piker, not the DSA, not SJP or AMP, not the activist mobs, influencers, journalists, Hollywood names, singers, members of Congress, or Senate candidates.
