This week in Nature Club we were learning about the different snakes in Britain. Can you name any? We searched for good habitats for them, made coiled snakes and gorgeous see through sun catchers with petals. @SidleshamSchool

We're very excited to have Busta Bear visiting us over half term. So far he's having a lot of fun... he's been on the Eurotunnel (Better for the environment than flying), he's arrived at #disneylandparis and he's watched us use our reusable tubs and bottles for lunch. 😊

Yesterday we held our first Green Planet meeting. The children had excellent ideas and are very keen to get cracking! Watch this space. We'll make @GretaThunberg proud. @SidleshamSchool We're a small school hoping to make as big an impact as possible on climate change.

We've planted a lot of trees and hedging on our school field and I'm sure we'll add more. Can you plant some at home? We've just planted a plum stone at home to see if it takes! 🌳🌳🌳

This protection is fantastic news. I've been lucky enough to swim with sharks, mantas, eagle and sting rays and they are my absolute favourite animals. So knowing and gentle, despite films like Jaws! I hope this protection gives them what they need. 🤞 https://t.co/MxuwdQpUMG
