@GreenNetworkEn Production capacity is very low currently (no more than 5mil straws a month per mfg). To have a real impact, we need key players like the top 10 food chains to adopt this, so mfgs can invest more in technologies to increase production to meet current demands. #grassStraws #help

Just because you cant do it today, doesnt mean you're not gonna be able to do it someday. Never give up!

@helmc7 @helmc7 would you please point us to the right direction, what do we need to do to give this alternative a chance?

P.s. thank you for everything you're doing at McDonald's and much appreciation for the impact you made to save our beautiful planet, Helen. <3

We're saddened to receive this response today, but we are not surprised at all and understand that a company at the scale of McDonald's would get many unsolicited ideas. We totally understand and respect McD for having such strict policy. We still appreciate you <3

@McDonaldsUK @McDonalds @SUBWAY which one of you is going to take the lead in eradicating plastic straw wastes? I'd like to send you some samples :)

[GreenStrawsDistributor @GreenStrawsDist]

@JUST @McDonaldsUK @McDonalds @StarbucksUK @starbucksprtnrs @yumbrands @SUBWAY @BurgerKing @pizzahut @EnvDefenseFund @NRDC This alternative is quite new, and the manufacturers in Vietnam are slowly growing, but it'll take them a long time to make a real impact in the world stage. Our goal at GSD is to give this product a little boost and bringing it to the forefront, hoping to increase its demands.

Finally, a real alternative to plastic straws. It's not paper, not biodegradable plastic, not bioplastic. It's much greener and better than paper. #GrassStraws #greenstrawsdistributor #paperstrawsSUCK #plasticfree #chemicalfree #savetheplanet #savetheocean

[GreenStrawsDistributor @GreenStrawsDist]

@NYCMayorsOffice If New York wants to ban plastic straws, everyone must be on board with the new alternative. The alternative must be more eco friendly than biodegradable plastic and bioplastics, yet perform much better than paper straws.

#grassStraws is the organic & natural solution!

[GreenStrawsDistributor @GreenStrawsDist]

@Earthjustice please save our ocean and wild lives by getting rid of plastic straws completely. #grassStraws (straws made out of grass) can totally replace all plastic straws. and they work better than paper straws.
