@CoastguardJM @CowesRNLI@rnli_kinghorn We’re very lucky to be one of the lifeboat stations that’s right in the heart of the town. Really feel for the crews that have to venture out to remote headlands etc.
It’s been a tough year for nature as many important conservation works stalled. The Forestry England & @RoyDennisWF project to reintroduce white-tailed eagles to England has been able to continue. It’s great to share positive news!🦅 @SeaEagleEngland https://t.co/kPHIkaLRsx
I wonder where the birdies is? Or “It’s behind you!”. They didn’t see the other Isle of Wight Sea Eagle on a post just out of shot either. A poor quality photo, but quite fun. To be fair, I think they may have been watching seals. @RoyDennisWF@SeaEagleEngland
@uttley@RoyDennisWF@SeaEagleEngland You might feel better when you see this, from yesterday lunchtime. (Different Eagle, in a completely different location.) They didn’t see it at all... or the other Eagle on a post just out of shot! ) I think I’ll call it “I wonder where the birdies is?”
Spent this morning watching some of these White Tailed Sea Eagles 🦅 near home on the Isle of Wight. These are part of the Roy Dennis Sea Eagle reintroduction programme. This is G274, one of last year’s birds. (Taken with full access permission.) @RoyDennisWF@seaeagleengland
