@jimiuorio So are you against requiring id to vote as it would strips states of the right to oversee their elections as they see fit moving oversight to the federal level?
@rev_cap The workaround is pipelines to the Red Sea and to Oman. The Houthis control the area in Yemen adjacent to the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait and are loyal to Iran.
@zachweinberg Ubers business model is to enter a market and lose money to gain dominate market share. Once they drive competition out they lift prices while simultaneously cutting revenue share with drivers. You can blame policy for a lot of things but not Uber and its pricing model.
@Justheretoserch@rev_cap Absolutely underpaid given their level of education vs cost of living in NY plus teachers paid into the pension system along with the district making contributions in lieu of cash compensation.
@Snowmobile_Man@SteveMcNY Yes and there is no much of NG being produced its cheap and plentiful throughout the country. So much so energy producers are flaring it in more remote areas rather than building pipelines. The issue is distribution not production.
@NicoleLapin He targeted Griffin because he is a Republican mega donor who backed his opponent with huge donations. It’s no different than the right attacking Soros or Gates.
@HuckleBerry_005@GriFdotpy@unusual_whales Since you might not be familiar with the company here is the President and Commerce Secretary hyping the company late this afternoon. And yes I think grocery stores are a terrible idea but this is exponentially worse. https://t.co/gkIG0svlh3
@ParlayDefi@EricSpracklen@BillAckman The rate runs parallel to the 10yr because of the avg length a mortgage is held. The average before rates went to zero was 8-9 yrs as houses are sold and mortgages were refinanced. Fannie and Freddie already keep rates tighter than they should be given the risk vs US treasuries.
@dgold113@jimiuorio 35 hours already happened to avoid health insurance coverage. Probably unnecessary but there are some terrible employers out there and what is going to stop those same employers from not approving the vacation time?
@Jhhhhhaa62627@RoofKoreanVoter@HormuzLetter The Saudis wouldn’t be fighting the Iranians alone, they would simply be joining the existing conflict focusing on western Yemen. They have a very vested interest the Red Sea remains navigable for their oil.
@Jhhhhhaa62627@RoofKoreanVoter@HormuzLetter Saudi military is more advanced than Irans, this isn’t a ground war, yet. The Saudis have been bypassing Hormuz with their oil, preventing $200+ a barrel. An attack gets oil a lot higher but also draws the Saudis directly in, they may hit Kharg. We will be in a tougher spot.
