This remarkable writing was discovered on a 4,000-year-old clay tablet by German-American researcher Hermann Hilprecht at the turn of 20th Century. The most controversial ancient Sumerian document presents the names of 8 ancient kings who descended from the sky and ruled for thousands of years. According to the narrative, a group of eight intelligent divine beings controlled Mesopotamia for thousands of years before the Great Flood.

This is names of the eight divine beings/ kings who ruled the cities before the flood Alulim, Alaljar, En-men-Luana, En-men-gal-ana, Dumuzid, En-sipad-did-ana, En-men-dur-ana and Ubara-Tutu. The name Dumuzid would later be changed to Tammuz by the Babylonians. The practices and traditions they used to worship Dumuzid/ Tammuz was later adopted by Christians and they are still used today. (coloring of eggs, Easter bunny)

Sumerians were an advanced civilization that existed nearly 7,000 years ago between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in Mesopotamia, which eventually became Babylon, now in Iraq. The manuscript detailing the list of Sumerian rulers and their reigns is one of the most impressive relics discovered from the ancient Sumerian site in Iraq.

This remarkable writing was discovered on a 4,000-year-old clay tablet by German-American researcher Hermann Hilprecht at the turn of 20th century. Hilprecht also discovered at least 18 similar cuneiform tablets (2017–1794 BC). They were not identical but shared information believed to have come from a single Sumerian source. More than a dozen copies of the Sumerian Kings List have been discovered in Babylon, Susa, Assyria and royal library of Nineveh from 7th Century BC.
Some people believe that these beings had a longer lifespan than humans while others believe that these are simply Sumerian mythical legends. However the Bible and the book of Enoch (the book of Enoch is NOT considered divinely inspired writing) talk about fallen angels/ demons, who lived with men, shared knowledge with men and taught men many things (enchantments, constellations, signs of the sun and moon, how to kill a baby in the womb, etc.) Both books tell us that the fallen angels led men to become very wicked. God was no longer happy with his creation and sent a great flood to cleans earth.

Could the divine beings that came from the sky that are written on this clay tablet actually be the fallen angels/ demons written about in the Bible and the book of Enoch?
