Today is the first day on the trail for #icpp_by_bike for two of the participants from Montpellier who will cycle the >100km ti Avignon to join us for the grand departure tomorrow
3340 Pilot Knob Road was the physical home of @plantdisease for generations. I made countless visits there. But times change and all that space wasn't needed. Building was sold (and razed). An auction for the sign and a brick just raised a ton of money for APS Foundation.
#ICPP_by_bike are 20 committed bike riding scientists who will ride from Avignon >250 km to @ICPP2023 in Lyon in August to raise awareness about THE carbon footprints. Please donate to the ISPP Resilience bursary in recognition of the km they'll pedal.
