@semrasevi Do what's going to get it published. You can switch them (probably what I'd do--I think logit's right). You can make your argument then leave as is and leave it up to the editor. Or you can courteously disagree with reviewer. But don't lose focus on getting it published.

@Hyde_Michael98 I've resorted to short (10 questions, 10 mins) multiple choice reading quizzes at start of class. Administered via online LMS (eg Brightspace) so they are auto graded & put in grade book. Make them substantial part of final grade; I'm currently at 30%. Works for me. Good luck!
