Government lawyer with a broad practice: criminal and civil, trial and appellate, and state and federal. Thoughts are mine; RTs are mere grist for a mill.
Well done to everyone that worked towards this resolution. As someone who formerly lived and worked near that location, that business had a demonstrably negative impact on the community.
Congratulations to the AG and the great team @CitizenCapozzi has assembled—Kratom and 7OH poison communities and destroy lives. I am proud to work in an office that fights for public safety every day.
JUST IN: American Shaman, Missouri’s largest kratom distributor, is suspending all in-state sales effective immediately.
Any retailer who uses free samples and misleading marketing to hook consumers, especially those struggling with addiction, will face swift enforcement.
BE ADVISED: If you are welcoming illegal slot machines into your business, you could be subject to civil and criminal penalties.
Jackson County Prosecutor Johnson and I will not allow these devices to continue wreaking havoc in our communities.
Three years ago, Kenneth Simpson irrevocably altered the lives of Mason Griffith, Adam Sullentrup, their families, and the community. I am so impressed with the strength and resilience of the Griffith and Sullentrup families. Thank you to these American heroes
Today, in honor of Christian County Sheriff's Office Deputies Gabriel Ramirez and Michael Hislope, flags are be flown at half-staff at government buildings in Christian and Greene counties, all police stations, sheriffs’ offices, and Missouri State Highway Patrol general and troop headquarters across Missouri.
Bravery, dedication to duty, and service to others defined these fine men, who each defended our nation as soldiers before selflessly serving Christian County as deputy sheriffs.
Sadly, these courageous heroes lost their lives because of an evil, violent, career criminal who should not have been free to commit these heinous crimes. Claudia and I are keeping both families, the Christian County Sheriff's Office, and the entire law enforcement community in our prayers during this difficult time. Ramirez’s and Hislope’s legacies will not be forgotten.
Today, our Office gave closing arguments in the case to remove the St. Louis city sheriff.
We left the courtroom feeling optimistic and look forward to Judge Ohmer’s ruling.
The public’s trust in our elected officials is worth fighting for and we will continue in our pursuit against corruption.
In 2020, retired Police Captain David Dorn was murdered during violent protests in St. Louis. His murderer has since challenged the sentence of life in prison.
Our Office has successfully defended the lawfully obtained conviction of Capt. Dorn’s murder ensuring his family continues to receive justice.
We will always defend justice, and we are steadfast in our support for our Law Enforcement community.
Proud to work with such a great group of attorneys and proud to work for an Attorney General who tells us to seek justice for victims and to protect the community.
My Office remains steadfast in our mission to protect Missourians from sexually violent predators.
We will continue to fight for justice and public safety with every tool available to us.
Attorney General Bailey leaves the Office stronger than when he took it. I am proud to have worked with him, and wish him well as he leaves to bring Missouri Values to the FBI.
Honored to be appointed as the next Missouri Solicitor General by @AGAndrewBailey. His SG Office is already one of the Nation's very best, and I look forward to continuing that work to protect the rights and liberties of Missourians and all Americans.
It has been such a privilege to serve as @AGAndrewBailey’s Communications Director and spokesperson.
He is truly America’s AG.
Excited to see all Team Bailey will continue to do for Missourians and the American people at large.
