🚨 I’ve seen some absolutely mental takes on Twitter/X over the years, but fuck me, some of the stuff I’m reading now is on another level.

People are genuinely taking sides on serious issues affecting Glasgow based on what fucking football team someone supports. Some are walking about with their eyes completely shut because admitting there’s a problem doesn’t suit their narrative.

Nearly everyone who comes here illegally won’t respect our culture, beliefs or way of life. That’s reality. Some people arrive here with deeply held cultural and religious beliefs that clash with our own values, and some have absolutely no intention of adapting.

But anyone choosing to live here must respect our laws, our freedoms, our culture and our way of life. That shouldn’t even be up for debate, and if they don’t, then DEPORT them.

Of course locals commit crimes. Nobody is disputing that, and they should be dealt with appropriately. But that doesn’t mean we should accept additional risks from failures in immigration controls, vetting or enforcement. We have every right to question who’s entering our country, whether proper checks are being carried out and how public safety is being protected.

And spare me the shite about crime happening in other cities and countries.

We’ve got people seemingly willing to accept anything happening on their doorstep because it’s easier to look the other way than admit there might be a serious problem.

I’ve been guilty of football tribalism myself over the years, but now it’s time to look at the bigger picture.

Our city, our country, our culture and our Christian heritage matter. Wanting them respected and wanting our streets safe shouldn’t be controversial.

If you can’t see beyond football allegiances and political loyalties to have a serious conversation about what’s happening, you’re either deliberately ignoring the issues or you’re just fucking STOOPIT. And yes, I spelled it that way deliberately.

Open your fucking eyes. This is bigger than football, politics and petty point-scoring. It’s about what kind of city and country we’re leaving behind for the next generation. ‼️

There's no sign it ever opened. Its only premises was an empty former Santander branch. Betfred plans to run the same unit with 6 staff (124m^2).

It never filed a single set of accounts.

It had £1 of share capital. It got three compulsory strike-off notices while sponsoring dozens of workers.

Its licence was gone by June 2026. The company was dissolved in September.

How was this business EVER allowed to sponsor visas? What "genuine business need" could they possibly have shown for ONE worker, let alone FORTY workers?

What on earth is UK Visas and Immigration doing?
